How We Work
We serve the community and reduce food waste by upcycling surplus food to those who need it most. Our sources for unused or surplus produce come from four main contributors: fruit trees, farmers, farmers' markets, and local grocers.
Farmers, market vendors, and local grocers who don’t currently have a plan for their surplus produce, or those who would otherwise throw it away or wish to donate it to a good cause, can share details about their excess items with us. We then coordinate the recovery of their produce through our team of dedicated volunteers as part of our community gleaning efforts.

FRUIT TREE HARVEST
Fruit Tree Owners can easily register their trees for harvesting through our online survey. After providing us with details about their property fruit trees and preferred time for picking, they can request to have their trees picked by our team of dedicated volunteers.

Our dedication to reducing waste and addressing food insecurity has driven our growth into the thriving business we are today. We work with fruit tree owners, community volunteers, and a wide range of partners to upcycle surplus produce, ensuring that fresh, nutritious food reaches those in need.

Since 2023, in response to challenges like the Oriental Fruit Fly and Citrus Greening Disease, we’ve expanded our impact beyond fruit tree picking. Our partnerships now include grocers, farmers, and farmers markets, allowing us to upcycle a greater volume of produce and reach even more communities.
